Technical interview
For jobs with a large component of technical and practical work, the interview process typically requires the candidate to complete technical tasks to test their practical knowledge.
These tasks may include programming exercises, written exams, and problem-solving using typical company workloads.
Traditional interview
The standard interview process involves activities to demonstrate the qualifications and skills specified for the particular job position. These are usually carried out through presentations.
Mixed interview

– Work in groups to discuss what sorts of skills employers would typically look for in interviews with jobs in computing and cyber security (30 minutes).
– Look up job applications for computing or cyber security jobs with a practical component – i.e. demonstrating a specific programming expertise, solving a set number of technical questions and practice answering these applications (60 minutes).
